Keep it dry where you can, and if it gets wet let it dry away from direct heat, never on a radiator. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and avoid solvents or household cleaners. Condition with a neutral leather cream two or three times a year. Leather darkens and softens with wear — that isn't a fault, it's the point.
